Local Responsibilities

As a company we have been lucky enough to been offered the oppertunity to run a local companies Green Spaces. The Company Everhot Cookers has a number of different sites with roughly 50,000 trees. The aim to give nature and wildlife a space to grow. The company is known for being a carbon neutral business using the power of solar, water and bio fuels to run productions. 

Our Role 

CE Contracting have been given the role of looking after this land. This consists of mowing, hedge trimming and management of the trees. A number of the sites are getting to the 15 year mark, this is when roughly 50% of the trees will be cut to encourage the healthiest trees to thrive and grow. Our role in this is to choose the trees to remove and log these to size for the company to use in their biomass. 

The companies main site is run on water power, this is another speciality of ours, we have expertise in river management, keeping the river running through the site is crucial, a steady flow of water is essential for them to produce enough power and through the winter months blockages can quickly turn to disaster. We play close attention to ensuring any potential blockages i.e. falling trees , overgrown hedges are removed using our aluminium boat, waders and whatever else is necessary.
